Destined To Reign
John 1 : 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (NIV )
Light is associated with the life of God, while darkness is associated with the devil and the works of evil. When a person is saved, they become light, and darkness no longer has power or influence over them. The works of darkness have been driven out of us because the life of God is our light, causing us to shine in every area of life. No negative influence can ultimately control your life because the light within you overcomes darkness. What you believe about yourself has a profound impact on how you live each day. The truth is that there is no darkness in you.
A mind firmly established in the good news of Jesus Christ is the key to enjoying the life we have in Him. Do not allow the systems of this world to lead you in the wrong direction. Remember, you are in the world, but you are not of the world. Let the gospel take root in your heart through faith, because everything in the Christian life operates by faith. You belong to the Kingdom of light, and you are light. Do not allow false beliefs or wrong information to keep you from living the life you have in Christ. Learn to see everything through the light of the good news of Jesus Christ.
Declaration
Father, I thank You for loving me unconditionally and causing me to shine in this life. I shine wherever I go. No darkness can be found in me, and I am making a positive impact in this world, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
